Taliban To Meet EU Officials On Tuesday: Acting Foreign Minister

"Tomorrow we are meeting the EU representatives. We are having positive meetings with representatives of other countries," Amir Khan Muttaqi said.


Doha, Qatar: A Taliban delegation will meet European Union representatives in Doha on Tuesday, acting foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said, days after face-to-face talks with the United States.

"Tomorrow we are meeting the EU representatives. We are having positive meetings with representatives of other countries," Muttaqi said on Monday at an event organised by the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies in the Qatari capital.

Russia Facebook Ban: Facebook limited access to accounts linked to the Russian government after Russia's attack on Ukraine. Russia  on Friday announced a '  partial  ban' on  Facebook . This has been done by Moscow  because the social media company had limited access to several Russian government-backed accounts  after the attack on Ukraine.  Russian state communications agency Roskomnadzor said on Friday it called on Facebook to lift restrictions imposed on Thursday on state news agency RIA Novosti, state TV channel Zvezda and pro-Kremlin news sites Lenta.Ru and Gazeta.Ru. The agency said Facebook has not reinstated the media outlets.
