UP: Flood-stricken people angry with government arrangements, CM Yogi will visit the affected areas
There are only a few people who are living in the flood-prone areas putting their lives at risk. But there are many who are waiting to get under the flood waters by making huts on the side of the road.

Floods in Varanasi are making the situation uncontrollable. While the Ganges is flowing almost one meter above the danger mark, the water level in its tributary Varuna has also risen significantly. Because of this, many people living on the banks of the river are now being forced to migrate. There are only a few people who are living in the flood-prone areas putting their lives at risk. But there are many who are waiting to get under the flood waters by making huts on the side of the road.
Flood-stricken people of Varanasi
The Saraiya area of Varanasi is affected by the floods. Most of the poor live in these areas, who had got their house built here because of cheap land. But now all of them are facing a lot of difficulties due to the floods. Sunita, who is troubled due to the flood, says that whenever there is a flood, she and her family are forced to live in such a hut.
They do not like going to relief camps. In their eyes, proper arrangements are not made there. There is a lot of dirt. At the same time, Meera Devi, while expressing her pain, has said that her husband's earnings have also ended. Somehow, they are making a living by asking for help from each other. Children are starving. People have not died, everything else is done. Do not go to flood relief camps because there is discrimination.
