In this regard, Professor Ravikesh, Registrar, Jawaharlal Nehru University, says that some Afghan students of JNU have requested for their return to the university campus. However, as per the guidelines of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, the university is currently closed for normal activities.

Significantly, US forces have withdrawn from Afghanistan. After this the Taliban has captured there. After this development, diplomats of different countries are continuously returning from Afghanistan. Apart from them, a large number of women and businessmen are also leaving Afghanistan and returning home.
