Four suspects arrested in Israeli embassy blast get bail

Based on the inputs received from the Intelligence Bureau (IB), these four were arrested by the Special Cell from Kargil in June itself. According to senior officers of the Special Cell, no direct evidence was being found against these four. Psycho analysis test of these four accused was also done, in which the reports of two were suspicious. However, due to no direct evidence being found in the blast case, he got bail.

All four were considered suspects in the bombings outside the Israeli embassy. The reason for this was that on the day of the blast i.e. January 29, the phones of the four accused were switched off and all of them suddenly disappeared from Delhi.

The blast happened on January 29

The IED blast took place outside the Israeli Embassy in Delhi on January 29 this year. However, there was no report of any casualty in this. 29 years of diplomatic friendship between India and Israel were also completed on 29 January. Beating Retreat was also on the same day. This was the time when President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were reaching Vijay Chowk to attend the Beating Retreat Ceremony.
