CBSE students and their parents. PM Modi also interacted with the students
and their parents in this meeting. PM Modi addressed the concerns of the
students and their parents.
The
Prime Minister attended the meeting to assure that CBSE results would be
released keeping in mind the very objective criteria of students'
abilities.
The meeting was originally convened by CBSE
to reach out to the students and parents after the decision to cancel the Class
12 board exams was announced.
CBSE
12th board exam canceled
On June 1, the Government of India announced
that the Class 12 exams would not be conducted due to the outbreak of Corona. It
has been said in the official statement that this decision will not be
conducted this year due to Corona, the board exam will be conducted. It
was also stipulated that CBSE would take the initiative to compile the results
of Class 12 students in a timely manner based on well-defined objective
criteria.
The
Prime Minister said that the decision on CBSE's 12th examination has been taken
in the interest of the students. Corona has affected the academic calendar
and the problem of board exams has created a lot of concern among students,
parents and coaches, which they believe should be addressed. He said that
"the health and well-being of the students is our top priority!'
