In this series, the government has decided that if a person dies while battling Corona, then his family members will also get compensation under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana. For this, first of all it is necessary to register under the Chief Minister Family Prosperity Scheme.

Citizens between 18 and 50 years of age with a BPL or a family with an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh are eligible for this scheme. Compensation of 2 lakh rupees will be given on account of natural death after 31 May due to any reason, including corona, to the family of the citizen who is registered. If the person aged 18 to 50 years of BPL family has died due to corona from 1st March to 31st May, 2021, then they will also be given an exgracia grant of Rs 2 lakh.

Any BPL or a family with an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh can register at cmpsy.haryana.gov.in or can also be contacted by CSC. After this, the form can be filled in the bank for Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana till 25 May. The state government will pay an insurance premium of Rs 330 to each person.
