Bengaluru Fire: 2 killed in fire in Bengaluru, entire premises evacuated

He said that the incident took place at 4:35 pm to 4:40 pm and three fire tenders arrived at around 4:55 pm. The entire apartment complex was evacuated.

According to the report, a video shows a woman trapped in the grill inside the balcony and the flames are increasing further. In this 90-second video recorded by people standing outside, it is seen that there was no way for the woman to escape and in the end she herself was seen burning in flames.

Fire service officials said the 42-year-old woman died of burns. Along with this, five other people have also been injured in the fire, out of which the seriously injured have been taken to the hospital. A fire broke out in an apartment on Bennergatta Road in Devarachikkanalli in Bengaluru later in the afternoon. The flames had spread to three flats, which was brought under control later. But at the time the video was made, there was no effort to help the woman trapped in the balcony.
