Gang busting people with money by preparing fake RT PCR report, three people arrested

Police of Shahdara area of Delhi have busted the racket by preparing fake RT PCR report and extort money from common people. Police has arrested three accused in this case. These accused used to make fake bills and reports in the name of lab, the police has recovered a laptop and three mobile phones from them. According to the police, a PCR call was received in Shahdara police station on May 5 in the case of receiving fake report of RT PCR test.
The victim said that on April 21, he had called a man to test the COVID-19 of 6 family members. The victim gave a sample of 6 people for corona examination and also gave 9000 rupees. The COVID test report was not given to the victim even after 4 days had passed, so the victim contacted the person who took the sample. The person who took the sample claimed that the report would be sent in a day or two.
After this, the victim received her negative report on her WhatsApp on 28 April. The date of taking the sample in the report was wrong, due to which the victim got suspicious, then he reached a nearby lab. Where he came to know that the corona negative report he has received is fake.
The police have taken the matter seriously and started an investigation by registering an FIR. During investigation, a person has been caught on the basis of the details of the mobile number and information from the informants. The man told his name as Sunny, Sunny had come to collect samples of the victim's house. Sunny gave information about his other companions - Jitendra and Sunil, who have been arrested by raiding.
During interrogation, accused Sunny Singh revealed that he used to collect the Kovid sample for a lab. On 21 April, his friend Jitendra had asked to go to the victim's house to get a sample. After reaching there, he took a sample of Kovid-19 of six people of the victim's family and took about 9000 rupees. Sunny transferred the money to his friend Jitendra instead of giving it to the lab and when the victim demanded the report, accused Jitendra made a fake Kovid-19 negative report and sent it to Sunny, who then gave it to the complainant.
When the complainant examined the report, he got suspicious and when the report was checked by the lab, the lab made it clear that they did not prepare the report. The report they have is fake.
Police inquiries have revealed that these people have cheated people by giving fake corona reports to people in many areas of Delhi like this. Police is trying to contact all those victims.
