in the forest located in Pahargarh of Morena in Madhya Pradesh. A very

this incident in the sky itself. Now Air Headquarters has ordered an inquiry
under Air Commodore. An Air Commodore-rank officer from Air Headquarters is
probing the cause of the accident.
Planes crashed after colliding with each other
Let us tell you that the Indian Air Force fighter aircraft
Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 crashed on Saturday due to collision with each other.
Both the aircrafts took off from Gwalior airbase at around 9:15 am. He lost
contact with the ATC after traveling 50 km. The planes were burnt in the air
itself.
Aircraft were on routine exercise mission
Regarding this, the Indian Air Force had said in its statement that two fighter
jets of the Indian Air Force crashed near Gwalior. The aircraft were on a
routine training mission. One of the 3 pilots involved lost his life. On the
other hand, after the accident, a black box has been found from the wreckage of
the aircraft in Pahargarh area of Morena. Morena Superintendent of Police
Ashutosh Bagri told that a part of the black box of the Sukhoi aircraft has
also been found.
Eyewitness accounts of the accident
Some eyewitnesses of this accident also came forward. Those who saw the
incident with their own eyes told the situation. Eyewitnesses said, 'When the
fire broke out, both the aircraft were passing over Kailaras town in Morena
district. Had the debris fallen in the town, a large number of people could
have lost their lives. The villagers believe that the pilot put his life on the
line to save the lives of the people and took the aircraft away from the
population to the forest located in Pahargarh and dropped it.
Important things about Mirage-2000 and Sukhoi aircraft
Only one pilot is needed to fly the Mirage-2000 fighter jets. The length of
this jet is 47.1 feet. Wingspan is 29.11 feet. The height is 17.1 feet. With
weapons and fuel, its weight becomes 13,800 kg. By the way it weighs 7500 kg.
On 26 February 2019, 12 Mirage-2000 fighter jets had entered Balakot in
Pakistan and destroyed the terrorist training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Talking about Sukhoi 30, its length is 72 feet. Wingspan is 48.3 feet. Height
is 20.10 feet. Its weight is 18,400 KG. It is powered by Lyulka L-31FP
afterburning turbofan engines, which gives it a power of 123 kilonewtons. Due
to this engine and its aerodynamic design, the fighter jet flies at a speed of
2120 km per hour. Its range is also 3000 kilometers. If fuel is found midway,
it can go up to 8000 kms. It can fly up to a height of about 57 thousand feet.
